with Les Grobstein, Steve Leventhal, and Alison Moran

The Bears travel to Philly and Green Bay looks to stay unbeaten at San Diego.  Also, we look at the rest of the NFL in our weekly roundtable.  All the local college football teams are in action except for Illinois, and Northwestern travels to Lincoln. Somehow Les manages to work the old Chicago Fire WFL and the Cheetahs of roller hockey fame into the discussion. Lastly, a look at the Cubs managerial candidates.

with Les Grobstein, Alison Moran, and Packer Dave,

Steve Leventhal makes the longest guest call-in on the show's history by phoning in from Jerusalem, Israel, where the even the locals were keeping up with the World Series.  What a Fall Classic it was, with a dramatic extra-inning game six, and a victory in game seven for the home town Cards, which left Rangers fans scratching their heads at what could have been.  All that, plus college football, NBA lockout talk, and the weekly NFL round table.
