HOW DO I PLAY?

  1. Recruit your team – each team must be from 2 to 6 members, and at least 1 member of the team must be a new YSF member who registered after 11:59 PM CST, February 18th. Team recruitment will close at 11:59 PM CST, March 9th.
  2. Register your team by creating a new group under the category “YourSportsFan.com Supreme Team Contest”. Make sure all your Supreme Team teammates are members of your group before March 10th. This will be the means by which we will track team points
  3. Start earning points March 1st.

HOW DO I WIN?

  1. To be eligible for the Grand Prize, you need to create a new group for your team under the “YourSportsFan.com Supreme Team Contest” category by 11:59 PM CST, March 9th. The Grand Prize winner will be randomly chosen from members participating in the contest.
  2. The Team Prize will be awarded to the team that accrues the most points before 11:59 PM CST, April 2nd.

Official Rules: YourSportsFan.com “Supreme Team” Contest

The contest period will begin Monday, February 19, 2007 at 12:00 AM US CST and continues through Monday, April 2, 2007 at 11:59 PM US CST (the “contest period”).


How to Enter:
During the contest period, all registered users who join a valid group under the category of “YourSportsFan.com Supreme Team Contest” will be entered into the contest. A registered user is defined as anyone who has created a profile on www.YourSportsFan.com and meets the user eligibility rules as defined in the YourSportsfan.com terms of service.


In order to be included in the contest, a group must be a valid group (also know as “the team”). A valid group is defined as a group that conforms to the following rules:

  1. The group has set up a team in the "YourSportsFan.com Supreme Team Contest" group section on the website.
  2. The group must have a minimum of 2 members and a maximum of 6 members.
  3. At least one member of the team must be a newly signed up member of YourSportsFan.com during the registration period of the contest. In order to qualify, new members must be registered users between 12:00 AM US CST, February 19, 2007 and 12:00 AM US CST, March 10, 2007 (“team recruitment deadline”).

Prizes:
The Grand Prize Winner will receive a Slingbox AV. The fair market value of the prize is $179.99.

The Team Prize Winners will each receive a $50 Gift Card from Best Buy. The fair market value of each prize is $50.00. 2 to 6 Team Prizes will be awarded.

How to Win:
One (1) Grand Prize winner will be chosen at random April 3, 2007 from registered users who have entered the contest and are still members of a valid group by the time the contest period expires.

The Team Prizes will be awarded to the members of the team that has accrued the most points from 12:00 AM US CST, March 1, 2007 to 11:59 PM US CST, April 2, 2006 (“points period”).

Points will be accrued by members of the team based on activities described below. The team with the most cumulative points accrued by its members during the points period will be the winner. The winner must be a valid group at the end of the contest period.

  1. 5 points will be awarded to the team for any new registered users recruited during the points period. In order for points to be counted, an invitation must be sent through the site to a specific email address. This email address must match the email address used upon registration by the new user. Registration must occur during the contest period.
  2. 2 points will be awarded to the team for every blog entry created by a team member.
  3. 2 points will be awarded to the team for every quiz created by a team member.
  4. 1 point will be awarded to the team for every poll created by a team member.
  5. 1 point will be awarded to the team for every photo posted by a team member.
  6. 1 point will be awarded to each blog or YSF channel comment posted by a team member. Profile page comments will not be counted.

Eligibility:
Contestants must be members of a valid group before the team recruitment deadline, as described in the above rules.

Contestants must be legal U.S. residents and registered users of YourSportsFan.com with a “Fan” membership type. Employees of YourSportsFan.com, its parent, affiliate, subsidiary or successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies or suppliers, registered users with membership types of “Management” or “Coach,” participating advertisers and sponsors, content providers and immediate family members or anyone residing in the same household of anyone so employed or contracted are not eligible to participate or win.

Contest winners will be notified via email, and must provide their name, address, email address and daytime and evening telephone numbers to claim their prizes. Only one (1) prize will be awarded to each contestant. Users registered under multiple email addresses that win more than one prize under different registered email addresses, shall forfeit the prize with the greater value.

Contestants may only win one (1) Grand Prize from any YourSportsFan.com contest every 90 days.


Contest winners will be notified via email, and must provide their name, address, email address and daytime and evening telephone numbers to claim their prizes. One (1) grand prize will be awarded to the contest winner. A new member who is registered with multiple profiles under multiple email addresses, should he/she be drawn as the winning entry in this contest, will be ineligible and will not receive the prize. Also, any member who had created a profile prior to December 1, 2006, should he/she create a new profile(s) under new or multiple email addresses, will be ineligible and will not receive the prize. In the event that an ineligible entry is drawn, a second random drawing will take place to determine an eligible contest winner.

Conditions:
 No purchase necessary to participate or win. Void where prohibited by law.

The decision of the YourSportsFan.com judges is final.

Contestants acknowledge and agree that YourSportsFan.com shall have no obligation to post, display or otherwise make publicly available any information or photo submitted by contestants, and may, in its sole discretion, remove, edit, modify or delete any information or photo that contestants submit to YourSportsFan.com.

Contestants understand and intend that any information or photo submitted to YourSportsFan.com may be available for viewing, rating, review and comment on by the public, and understand that comments or ratings with which contestants disagree or are unhappy about may be published or otherwise become associated with any information or photo contestants submit to YourSportsFan.com. By submitting any information or photo to YourSportsFan.com, contestants hereby waive any privacy expectations that they may have with respect to any such information or photo submitted to YourSportsFan.com.

Contestants hereby agree to hold YourSportsFan.com and its affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees sponsors and assigns harmless from and against, and hereby waive any right to pursue, any claims of any nature arising in connection with the inclusion in, publication via or display on any YourSportsFan.com site, or any other use authorized under these terms, of any information or photo submitted to YourSportsFan.com.

Information or photos submitted by contestants to the site shall be the property of YourSportsFan.com, and YourSportsFan.com shall have no obligation to preserve, return or otherwise make available to contestants or others any information or photos so submitted.

The prize is non-refundable, non-redeemable and non-transferable. YourSportsFan.com may, in its sole discretion, opt to award the Grand Prize winner a check in the amount of $179.99 in lieu of the Slingbox AV, or checks for $50.00 in lieu of Best Buy $50.00 gift cards.

The prize will be delivered to the winner via an overnight delivery service. YourSportsFan.com is not responsible if the prize becomes lost, damaged or misdirected by the overnight delivery service.

YourSportsFan.com is not responsible if the prize becomes lost, damaged or expires after the contest winner receives it.

If for reasons beyond the control of YourSportsFan.com, the prize cannot be delivered to the contest winner within 30 days of the contest’s conclusion or if the winner does not meet contest eligibility requirements, a runner-up winner will be determined. The runner-up winner will be determined by holding another random drawing from all new member entries.

Winner agrees that the prize will not be sold, given away, nor in any other manner be used in direct promotion of any business.

Winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and duties. All Federal, state, and local taxes apply. Value of prizes exceeding $600.00 or an aggregate of $600.00 or more won in contests conducted by YourSportsFan.com during any one (1) calendar year period is reported to the Internal Revenue Service as additional income received. The amount reported to the IRS for income tax purposes will be the fair market value of the prize at the time the contest is initiated, or as soon thereafter as an accurate determination of value can be made. The fair market value is determined by YourSportsFan.com in its sole discretion.

Winner must sign a liability release form relieving YourSportsFan.com of any liability for damage, loss or harm winner might incur in claiming or using the prize. Failure to sign the liability release form will result in forfeiture of the prize.

Winner is responsible for all other expenses that may be incurred in association with the use of the prize. YourSportsFan.com will not provide any additional money for any expenses incurred as a result of claiming or using the prize.

YourSportsFan.com reserves the right to use the contest winner’s name, photographs and/or likeness on www.yoursportsfan.com or in advertising materials for promotional and publicity purposes at any time without advance permission or knowledge required or any additional compensation.

If unforeseen technical difficulties prevent contestants from creating new profiles on the site during the contest period, YourSportsFan.com may, in its sole discretion, extend the end date of the contest period. If such changes occur, YourSportsFan.com will provide ample and clear communication of these changes on the home page and in these contest rules.

YourSportsFan.com, its parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies, officers, directors, agents and employees are not responsible for any expenses, damages or loss the winner may incur due to illness, injury, or loss of life in claiming or using the prize.

These contest rules may be modified at any time during the contest period with such changes announced and made on www.yoursportsfan.com.
